The kids at LL are so kind and mature. When I was going through a rough patch in life, they all were very supportive and kind. I want to work here when I grow up. The teachers are very supportive of everybody even me as a trans and pansexual person. The whole school is very diverse in race, religion, sexuality and ethnicity but they are all so nice.
Like any high school, it's what you make of it yourself. I liked LL and most of the kids there were friendly. Most of my teachers were good, some were excellent. I gotta think some of the negative reviews are ridiculous, like one star because a vending machine didn't work? Give me a break! I wonder how many of the one-star reviews were from people who didn't actually go to LL.
It's a pretty good school for most students. I have an IEP and the resource teacher I have (L. Bachtold) is very nice and really helps you with academics, and getting/changing accommodations. The other kids are pretty good, but not without some of 'those kids', but then again so does every school. I have found though, that for me some teachers are hard to understand or get along with sometimes.
my son graduated from LLHS. A lot memories back in there. School is okay teachers are very nice in majority, a couple of them are racist and non helpfull. School gives you many activity opportunities, sports, arts and advance science classes. my son got scholarship from UC Merced Mechanical Engineer. This can be considered both school and student's success. Thanks to school administration.
My experience with the teachers was quite nice, and they helped me settle into school after I moved there a month into the school year. The counselors were all so kind, and the teachers so understanding. The kids were more welcoming than I could've imagined, and I feel it's overall a very nice school.
