Kua Body

For six years I have found Kua Body to be best the massage center I've been to. I have had four different massage therapists, all of who have been outstanding with different strengths. Annette Oevermann has been "go to" therapist for "deep tissue" work and sports therapy. Through her skilled touch, she intuitively knows through where to focus, how much pressure to apply, and works slow and methodically, working out the knots without discomfort. After an hour and a half, I feel relaxed and renewed. I will miss Annette terribly when she returns to Germany, as she is been at the top of my long list of amazing massage therapists.

Crystal is amazingly adept at finding all the areas of stress and working out the knots and tension. I've had sports massages that were very intense and on the verge of painful and Crystal seems to achieve the same results without the discomfort. I'm very particular about therapists and she always exceeds my high expectations.

I’ve been seeing Estel for massage since our days working together at Samyama Yoga Center, and I followed her here when the pandemic shut us down. My first massage with her really changed my understanding of how I’d like to be touched on the table (I remember gushing to a coworker about it).

She’s knowledgeable, generous, warm, and is hands down my favorite masseuse of all time (pun intended). Seriously. Across multiple states. I could not recommend her more highly and would bring my never-had-a-massage-before grandpa here, if he’d let me, because she’s not only excellent with my knotty 33-year-old body, she’s also a great choice for older populations. Did I mention that she’s versatile and highly skilled?

Kua Body is the most lovely and restorative place I can imagine. Annette is the most talented and wise massage therapist I have ever worked with. She is brilliant with knowing how the muscles and connective tissues interact and how pain in one area can cause discomfort in another. She is like a body detective and figures out exactly what is going on in my body and then helps me gentle and effectively solve for it. And she is able to produce life changing results in the body without pain! This is what amazes me the most...massage can be decadent and enjoyable AND effective at making you feel better. I had not had that experience before Annette at Kua Body. She is paramount in helping me feel comfortable in my skin again and I feel so grateful to have found her. Plus she is simply lovely beyond measure so there's that. She's a pleasure to spend time with. I wish there were 10 stars!

I had my first massage with Annette at Kua Body last week and I have to say it was the best massage I have ever experienced in my life - and I have had quite a few. Everything from the settings, to the communication and the execution of the massage itself was wonderful. The temperature, room ambience, music volume were very inviting. Annette offered me several options of a warmed/ not warmed table, body position, grade of how much to go undressed, and different levels of firmness.
I can tell that Annette is a real massage pro (being a former physical therapist, I was watching out for technique, massage flow and just my own personal feeling). She had a wonderful flow of techniques, an uninterrupted change of body positions and the right speed and level of firmness. I didn't want it to stop and enjoyed every minute. I truly loved the massage and will come back for more. Highly recommended!
