Holy Cross Orthodox Monastery

Nice place to visit. I was on a Sunday and attended the leturgy. After that the comunity had a meal together discussing on different topics.

Finally my turn to write to The God's people in most beautiful Monastery in this Country, if not.... (huh, I've seen a lot in Serbia)!
I hope you still remember, Ceca & Zzeljko Marinkovic, Baptizing (than) little Tanja and Kumovi Branko & Milica, than my Late Son Aleksandar and my Father in law, Veselko Z The Sculptor De Luxe! Katarina, my Wife is in hospital in Freemont and when I go to visit her, I may visit you too! God Bless!

Truly beautiful, peaceful and worth the trip. Father Stephen has so many great stories to tell about the monastery and it's founding. I love how much more open and international they are as well, not just any specific Orthodox nationality but many.

It's a blessed place, kissed by God. It is a very rare case nowadays, that in the heart of the bustling and noisy Bay Area one can find an oasis of peace, tranquility, and love. It is hard to believe that this wonderful place was made just by three monks under leadership of Abbot Father Stephen. The territory of the monastery is well-groomed and ennobled. There is plenty of parking space. Children can play on green lawns. The services in the monastery are filled with spiritual content. The sermons are sincere and heart touching Believers of many nationalities gather here, so the services are conducted in English, Church Slavonic, Romanian, Bulgarian and Greek. After the services, people gather for Agape meal where food of various nationalities is served.

Such a wonderful place! Sweet little chapel, nice folks. The priest is very kind and the area is beautiful. I'll be coming back here frequently.
