Our kids are alumns, having done 2 years there each. They (and we) loved every second of it. Faculty is amazingly caring and professional, and so is its admin.

One often says that it takes special circumstances to differentiate from good to great: something "special" or "unexpected" happened (e.g. we had a request, or there was an "injury", or a "fight") we felt that it was dealt with with care and professionalism. We always felt listened to and considered, and most often accommodated.

Growing Light Montessori is an amazing school. The cost is a bit high for myself, but being in Kensington, it is expected. The education style is traditional Montessori with a large emphasis on inquiry and projects, and a vast amount of educational toys to play with. The teachers are tender and kind and our child thrived there.
