Grand Harbor Seafood and Dimsum Restaurant

Not bad for a dim sum place on the peninsula. Not the best and not the worst. A little too doughy on the buns and not enough filling. Flavors were standard fare. But I have to say the views of the bay and sfo were amazing here. Didn't have to wait for a table on Saturday morning either. If you're not looking to drive too far and are already on the peninsula then this is a decent spot for decent dim sum and good views.

Lovely dim sum spot with views of the bay and planes landing at SFO. We arrived on a Tuesday around 11am. We were able to get a seat but it was getting crowded and a queue started by the time we left. They offer a variety of dim sum, specialty dishes and authentic Cantonese food. The prices weren’t too bad, dim sum is sold by size, the price is on the front of the menu. Everything we ate came piping hot and fresh, the noodle dish we ordered was good! Crunchy noodles, but I wish there was more beef than tendons in it. The baked BBQ pork buns were so good and big!!!! I would come again with family. Parking lot can be tight, so you have to come early to secure a spot here, the spaces are quite small too.

Decent variety and portion size with good flavor and value for price. Lovely view of the Bay, come early this place gets packed even on weekdays. Good option for larger groups table sizes 4 to 10 people.

Had to check out this Dimsum place after seeing it in Food Network’s Diners Drive-Ins and Dives.
The Dimsum was very tasty and the special dishes like the Crispy Skin Roasted Squab was delicious. We wanted to try the other dishes since their menu selection is quite extensive, but our bill was already running in the upper $200!!! Lol
I only gave it 4 stars mainly because parking can be a REAL challenge especially during weekends and lunch time. Also, be prepared for staff that don’t speak good English. You need to be patient when asking for water, condiments, and even to-go boxes as they may answer or ask you questions in Chinese.
Overall, I will still come back to this place just to try their other dishes.

Arrive early as dim sum can get very crowded. The food here is tasty and doesn’t disappoint. Authentic Cantonese style cuisine. After the rain the view of the bay can be quite nice.
