(February 21, 2023, 5:04 am)I am a novice when it comes to Indian food, however the food here was exceptionally tasty and though it took some time to prepare, it was worth the wait. I believe they do a pretty heavy take-out service, so quite possibly affecting speed of service. There were only three or 4 tables seated during my visit but there was a lot of activity in and out the door. It was a cold evening and the restaurant seemed like it was not heated, which with the door open made it a little uncomfortable. When the food came, my attention was diverted as it looked and smelled fabulous. If you've never had Indian food before and were trying for the first time, you would get a great first impression here. Give it a try. Price was reasonable as well, for the quality of the food!

(December 4, 2022, 2:49 pm)Hidden gem, just 15 min drive from San Francisco for Indian and Punjabi food. The lunch buffet on weekdays is incredible. I sampled over 10 dishes and everything was delicious and flavorful. Cooked by Indian people who know what authentic flavors are supposed to taste like, this is my new favorite Indian restaurant.

(October 11, 2022, 4:35 pm)Five Rivers Indian Cuisine restaurant is one of my favorite places to take out dinner; located in Westlake in Daly City is convenient; The food is delicious, a bit spicy, authentic Indian, and fresh made; they bake the naan in a traditional tandoor oven. The price is right; I recommend this place 100% is very busy special on the weekends.
