(January 23, 2023, 11:53 pm)This SSF destination is a must. My favorite is the Darby and the Piccolo. A healthy portion of meats and the dressing mmm. Get it warmed up. Gets busy at prime time and parking may get tight. But worth it.

(January 16, 2023, 11:45 am)My dad reminisced about Darby Dans from his days in the late 80’s, grabbing a sub, and heading to Candlestick Park for a 49ers game. I remember having their subs as a young kid before we moved out of state in 1999. I am happy to report that after returning to visit family after 25 years, Darby Dan’s is still a truly top notch establishment! An absolute must, the best, freshest bread and ingredients. I can’t wait to return very, very soon.

(December 6, 2022, 5:33 pm)The food Here is truly amazing. Some of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. Bread is fresh and the ingredients are too. The meatball sandwich is big and tasty. Their crab sandwiches are to die for. I wanted to try something different and I was excited to find another great sandwich place. This is a must try if your in the San Fran area.

(May 10, 2022, 1:00 am)For people that are serious about sandwiches, Darby Dan’s is living the hood life, South San Francisco style. I recommend the Darby Dan signature sandwich as it comes (don’t mess with perfection) on Dutch Crunch bread. If you can go on a Thursday and Friday the 1/2 Shrimp, 1/2 Crab salad sandwich is a little bite of Heaven!
