Coyote Hills Regional Park

This park really is a family-friendly place. It has flat paved trails along lakes, where plenty of birds, ducks living there. Also, unpaved trails go to the top of hills, where you can overlook the bay area. Hills are covered by green grass and colorful flowers, which are absolutely beautiful. Try to get there before 9am to get a parking spot at the park.

This place has a paved trail. They charge 5$ entrance fee. Remember to get out before 7pm as the park gates close by 7pm. It was beautiful after rain. Everything was green making the place so beautiful. We spotted some birds too.
Spring is the best time to visit here!

It was my first time visiting this park and it was a wonderful experience! So peaceful with beautiful views of the marshlands. I LOVED the Visitor's Center, it truly pays tribute to both the past and present Ohlone culture. (I only wish more places had Ohlone representation.) And I even purchased some bug boxes for my Girl Scout Troop! Will definitely be back to walk/bike more trails.

Great trails for a weekend hiking. Good scenery by the water. You can see turkeys and deers on different parts of the trails. However, it was very busy, even in the morning around 9am. It might be difficult to find parking inside as it gets later in the day.

Visited the park this weekend .. there was long line to enter the park as the parking ticket had to be taken at the gate from the machine .. the park had multiple hikes to choose from, mixed with both uphill and downhill.. views from the hill tops were really good .. lot of place for kids to play as well .. lush and green. Wish we had come in a lot earlier but then definitely will visit again to explore more.
