A small but nice park about the volcanic rocks that were thrown all the way here. There is a walk through all the parks in this area that can be quite nice (although it involves a lot of climbing stairs).

Tiny park about the size of one house lot, mostly covered by a tall bedrock outcrop similar to the larger Indian Rock a few blocks away, with a small lawn and an oak tree. A peaceful spot in a suburban neighborhood. Nice view from the top of the rock.

During the pandemic, this is one of the few rock parks in Berkeley that has been open, so we’ve walked over here a lot. There’s an easy climb on the south side, or you can hike up one of two sets of carved stairs. A bonus now is that the makers of Ocho chocolate are giving away chocolate bars on their porch across the street.

Just a big rock with steps to the top. Great view. Totally unexpected.

This is a gem of a small park. Great for a quick outing. The giant rock is great for casual climbing. The grassy area in back could use some love. I think it needs a bench or a picnic table. We've gone back several times since discovering it.

Lovely neighborhood. Can you find the poetry wall nearby?
