Community Park 1

Not a bad place to have a get together and has walking trails.

I went to check the place out today because on Saturday a long time neighborhood friend who I grown up with passed away suddenly and his celebration of life is going to be there. A nice place to make reservations for something like that. There's a very large baseball/ soccer field along with a play area for children with slides and a structure to climb on and have fun. The reservation area has a covered picnic tables area with a large BBQer and some trees for shade as well, I'm sure the morning sun shines on it bright too.

Huge enclosed field. Field has 4 entrances/ exits. Located right behind Donaldson Way Elementary, the park consist of 2 base ball fields facing each other, 2 field goal posts for football, a gravel track around the field. Which the track is 1/3 mile per lap. So 3 laps around the field on the gravel track is equal to 1 full mile. The parking lot is a decent size considering not to many people come here. On the outside of the field there is a playground with multiple picnic tables and bbqs. The park also has a huge canopy for shade that has 6 tables underneath and has a huge group bbq right next to the canapy hang. The park has bathrooms but they are never open, and also in the back behind the bathrooms there is a very peaceful creek/stream and a bridge that I find peaceful at times.

Very safe and clean park . The only issue is that people need to clean up after their dogs.
