Child's Playce

You will not find a more nurturing, loving, and safe environment for your little one. I was worried sick about returning to work for the last several weeks of my maternity leave and wondered how both myself and my 4 month old baby boy would adjust to the change.

Dana has been there for both of us, making our next chapter together smooth and stress free. Needless to say, after only a few days, Dana had our baby on a feeding/napping schedule which has made our home life so much easier.

Our baby boy lights up with a giant smile when we arrive at her home and is bewildered when we have to leave because he’s having so much fun! We feel at ease knowing that our baby is in the best of hands and that allows us peace of mind while at work!

Our son attended Child’s Playce for about 2 years and he absolutely loved it! We always felt so reassured that he was in the best of hands with Dana. We wish he could still be in her daycare and were sad to see her go. He is now ready for preschool and we credit so much of his ease of transition to Dana. You will love this daycare and her!

Dana is wonderful. She immediately got my son into a napping schedule, which we'd struggled with prior to Child's Playce but now maintain consistently. During the day the kids would play music, finger paint, and have lots of outdoor time. I also loved the Tadpoles online portal which centralized communications (messages, photos, daily reports) makimg things very easy and convienent.

We had the privilege of knowing Dana at her previous location, and our daughter was in her care for a little over a year. From our first visit with her, it was clear what a natural Dana is, and our daughter thrived with her. I credit Dana with helping to get her on a more regular schedule, as the weekdays had a rhythm that she quickly settled into. She came home signing “more” and “all done” after a few weeks, and Dana was great as we transitioned to solid foods, and from two naps to one. Prior to Dana, we were at a larger in-home childcare situation, and Dana was head and shoulders above in terms of communication, which was really important for us. Naps/meals/diapers were all reported every day, and she always gave great advice when challenging behaviors/developmental changes came up. She shared a video of my daughter’s early attempts at walking, which I will treasure forever. The kids seemed to form a little pack, and I think Dana does a great job letting them do their thing - fostering their independence in a safe and loving environment. Granted, I have an easy-going toddler, but she was always happy to be dropped off with Dana - in fact, we had a period of time when she would cry when I came to pick her up 😬. I cried when Dana told us she was moving, and I think any family would be lucky to have her in their lives.

As a new mom I was not only paranoid but very cautious about the daycare I chose for my son. Dana was the best decision we ever made for our family! She is nurturing, loving, kind, and so knowledgeable when it comes to raising children. Dana is not just a daycare provider but the most warm and caring human being that you could want your child to be around if it’s not you. I have learned so much about being a mom and a parent and children from Dana. My son has created friendships that will last a lifetime and so have I. Dana came referred to me through three different families randomly and I would be proud to pass her name on to any other families. She really is the best. Not to mention your children will eat the best meals!
