I recommend coming here first, no hidden charges, no scammy charges for locks, they don’t increase rates every 2-3 months like other facilities, great new lease discounts.

(March 11, 2023, 7:46 pm)This is a great facility. Very secure gate requiring access code. It’s in a safe neighborhood with quick access from San Pablo ave. We have had 2 units for a few years now and they are a reasonable price especially for this area. The management is on site, they are friendly and professional and keep the premises in top condition. Living in this area there is definitely a need for additional storage space and this place has been great for our needs.

(February 5, 2023, 11:46 am)went here after attending a mushroom festival at the nearby school. Found mushrooms so I wasn't disappointed. this was at the end of January something I doubt it stays that green year round. Only downside was having to park about 2 blocks back at the soccer fields

(October 7, 2022, 12:48 pm)Have had a unit at this location for about 2 years. Moved from across the street where I was concerned about the safety of my belongings. Years ago at two other different storage facilities in Chowchilla and Plumas Lake, I lost personal belongings due to mice. At Chowchilla, I lost everything.
I visit Security fairly often, and it is always a pleasant experience. And, management has always been helpful. -

Like so many others keeping within my budget especially with a unexpected expense I had to do some research. After looking up all local storage facilities I compared prices, features, offers, reviews, etc. And decided to go with Security Public Storage in Richmond. I made it into the office close to closing on a Friday and was still warmly greeted by Joel and his wife. They took the time to go over every step/detail with me, was able to get me set up with the unit I was looking at and at the discounted price. Before leaving I was given a little tour around the storage property at which time all my questions were answered. I left feeling confident that I choose the right place, at the best price and that my stored items would be safely secure.

(September 3, 2022, 7:42 pm)The management was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. After paying for and storing in a small unit I quickly realized it would be way too small. The following day the management got me all squared away with a much bigger unit without too much of a headache for me or them. Thanks Security Public Storage you guys are the best!
