While doing an internet search for a low-cost Listing Agent to sell my home in Hayward California I found James Smith. He claimed to offer the traditional brokerage services at considerable discount. This included, but was not limited to, holding Open Houses, negotiating with the buyer’s agent and coordinating the escrow.
James came over to look at my house and we talked about the sale. I found him to be very knowledgeable of the trends in the market. He convinced me that I would not be sorry doing business with him. As it turns out, I was not. I even asked him sometime later to help me buy a house in Elk Grove, even though it was far from Hayward.
I found James to be patient, realistic, personable and honest. His communication was open and consistent even when the news wasn’t good. I have bought 6 houses and sold 5 so am familiar with real estate agents. But I don’t think you will find an agent better than James Smith.

When looking for a home in San Ramon, James was able to find a quiet place in Twin Creeks for me. He was knowledgeable, honest, and even covered the the closing costs for our purchase. James represented both me and the seller, and was able to keep the communication lines open throughout. There was no tension between us and the seller, and the process was completed seamlessly. At the end of the deal, we even received a rebate check.
