Bonito Painting

Juan and his team are professional and sincere. Despite a small mistake in the paint finish, they honored their contract and completed the job as promised. This quality is missing from a lot of contractors these days. Highly recommend Juan and Bonito painting.

Four days ago, I read someone’s positive comments about the preparation work done by Bonito Painting and today our house has been painted, and we are happy with the result.
My reviews for each step:

Preparation: A+
I asked the team to remove 2 vine bushes that were completely wrapped on our front gate, the team removed it very cleanly, in my opinion, better than our gardeners could have done.
I asked the team to repair a small portion of our fence, they did a good job with that, too.
They did a great job replacing many window trims, a small part of a fascia and other things.

Painting: A
Painting our house is labor intensive because we want the the rafters and the ceilings of the eaves to be different colors. When I talked the to team leader, Carlos, about that, he lightly said that it would be a lot of work, then I mentioned that I told Juan about it when he gave me the quote. The team got it done.
The painted surfaces look great.

Wrapping up & Cleaning up: A-
This is the weakest part of their job.
I wish I had requested for them to paint the front small gate with paint brushes, instead of spray painting it, now there is a bit of paint on the soil and the pavement close to the gate. I should be able to wash those myself.
They did a great job removing all the large pieces of trash, however, I did have to pick up some nails and small wood pieces. I am sure if you hire them to do the job and mention to them at the beginning that the clean up has to be done perfectly, they would do it.
Juan did ask if I would like them to come and do a more through clean up after I texted to him that I was happy with the job, besides the clean up. I turned down the offer, because the team was here from 7:30 am until almost 5:00 and the things left behind won’t take me too much time to do.

Overall, I am very impressed with their work. Juan and the rest of the team are easy to communicate with. They showed up early in the morning and worked diligently through out the day.

I was looking to do exterior trim and exterior paint on our home. Juan and his team were very professional, friendly, and great to work with. Juan was prompt in responding and delivering a quote. He took the time to understand what we needed and was very helpful in picking out paint and trim molding pieces. He provided swatches for the paint colors, and he even brought several molding samples to make sure we got the right molding pieces for our exterior trim. I also needed the job done quickly and he was able to accommodate my tight timeline. He and his team delivered high quality work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Juan and his team. They were a pleasure to work with.

Recently, Juan's team, Bonito painting, painted my garage. As you can see in the 'before' image, my garage was mostly unfinished drywall. Juan's team cleaned, textured, primed and painted the garage walls and ceiling. I was very clear that I wanted white for all of the walls, except for the back wall and protruding ledge. I have to say they did a great job painting the garage! The lines were very sharp and the finished work was high quality! There were some hiccups along the way, but Juan did his best and fixed any issues. I would definitely recommend him and his team!

Juan is super easy to work with! He and his team did an amazing job painting the entire interior of our home. This included walls, trim, window sills, baseboards, fireplace, and doors. They made sure to patch everything beforehand as well and went above and beyond to help us pull old wires/cables from the vaulted ceilings. Juan even went ahead to paint a few bedroom ceilings/closets and swap out the main door for a brand new one as courtesy! We will continue to work with Juan for all our painting needs and recommend him 100%! Will refer him to friends/family too!
