There are so many average dentists in the world that will do what they are expected to do, say what they need to say, and do the bare minimum to get by. Sometimes it feels like they just don’t care the way you need them to or will even listen to what you need or want. A great dentist is very hard to find these days and I can’t stress how important it is to have one like this in your life. So when you finally get lucky after all these years and the universe aligns you on the right path, you have the absolute privilege of meeting an extraordinary dentist named Dr. Gao, who goes above and beyond the bare minimum in ways you would not even believe. He will assess your teeth and let you know exactly what you need to make it healthy starting from the foundation of your gums to literally everything else that he can think of and he will think of them all, restoring your teeth and gums to make it the best it can be. He aims for excellence. He wants you to have a healthy mouth and will help you get there. His standard and skill level is so much higher than any other dentist I’ve ever seen and trust me I’ve seen many others. I am truly convinced there is nothing Dr. Gao can’t achieve in the realm of dentistry and orthodontics. He knows what he is doing and you can feel it too. I don’t even know where to begin to thank him for the work he does as he has completely changed my life and helped me in ways no other dentist could. The first time I met him he took one look at my teeth and knew what I wanted and needed and exactly what to do without me even having to say a word. That is very rare and hard to find. Dental work can be anxiety-inducing; however, taking a leap of faith, I know I can trust Dr. Gao every step of the way. So if you had the choice, you wouldn’t even choose, you would just know he is the guy to trust with your teeth. That is the kind of dentist you need, the one you waited your whole life for!

Gao is a very nice and smart dentist! He takes him time and explains every procedure. I recommend him to any and everyone.

Yesterday, at Dr. Gao/Bernal Dental Care, I experienced an hour from very nervous end up very relaxed with super satisfaction. I am early 80s old with anxiety and “senior moments”. Worse yet, for several years I knew I needed a partial denture for my several front teeth, but I was afraid to go to dentist for fear of having several teeth pulled out! I just moved to this area, and it happened that one of the front teeth recently broken off. I searched online high and low and found Dr. Gao since he has double doctorate, especially Bone Pathology. The receptionist Melissa is so nice and scheduled me in during the holiday season. When I came in for the procedure, I was so nervous but Dr. Gao's explanation with kindness and details that made me feel relaxed. And his injection of anesthesia did not hurt at all which also worked right away and so does the entire procedure was painless! The best on top of the best is that when the assistant Jasmine reached out holding my hands from the beginning of extraction, at that moment, I was completely relaxed. I could only hear Dr. Gao say, "... one is out, the 2nd is out, third, fourth... all done" in less than half an hour!
I highly recommend Bernal Dental Care and Doctor Yuhao Gao, they are a very kind, very caring dental clinic with high professional skills.

Dr. Gao is a super attentive and well rounded provider. He’s the only dentist that I’ve seen who schedules his own appts, and is super reachable via WeChat. All my questions have been answered in only a couple hours. He’s efficient, caring, and experienced. His staff is great as well. Would 10/10 recommend this practice
