I'll be honest: I was a skeptic about chiropractic medicine for a long time. Then I became good friends with a chiropractor and had him do an adjustment. He relieved pains I had lived with for years and had just accepted. But I am stubborn and still live with pain till I finally go get an adjustment and think, "And why did you live in pain for two months?" I am going to try to give up a little of my stubbornness and maybe get a better life in the process. Okay, about Dr. Basco: He is caring. He is competent, confidant and compassionate. He laughs at my jokes and I leave his office feeling like I should have stopped in a month ago. I guess somehow living with pain is a sort of virtue with me. I am going to get over that.

My chiropractor recommended Dr. Basco's spinal decompression machine to treat my bulging disc. For sure his 20 treatment plan was the key to my recovery. Beforehand I had disabling sciatica and 24 hour pain, could not walk a block or stand for more than a few minutes. I had had an epidural already but that only relieved my symptoms about 25%. The very first decompression treatment I had gave me as much relief as the epidural. By treatment 13 the sciatic pain was gone, and after the last few treatments I could walk and stand normally. Now I go in for monthly touch ups which feel great (for me the treatments while my condition was still acute were uncomfortable, but absolutely worth it). Even though I paid cash for the treatments I found them very affordable and worth every dollar. Do not even consider surgery before you try this first!

Dr. Bosco is a good listener and adept at caring for his patients.
I have been seeking his care for the last 8 years for regular maintenance and occasional injuries.
He is the best Chiropractor I have ever found. He takes his time and uses a Stem Machine, heating pads and massage before he adjusts me.
It is a systematic, gentle, therapeutic approach that works every time.

I herniated a disc in my lower back and found Dr Basco had a practice in a lovely office with a view of the bay right near me in Alameda. His drew me in with a photo of a state of the art traction machine that after only two visits, has helped me to relieve my compression and pain. After 25 minutes of traction, Dr Basco gently placed a lightweight ice pack on the injury site as well as some electrodes that emitted eclectic vibrations that were relaxing and calming.

Dr Basco’s warm and caring and confident manner creates a comfortfotable atmosphere.He sincerely cares about each patient. Even though he had only seen me once, when I told him I had to travel in three days, he offered to come in on Saturday after his golf game to give me another treatment. He was welcoming to my husband and two year old grandson who came as well since I can’t drive yet.

Needless to say, I have already scheduled more appointments for when I return and feel very fortunate to call him my doctor!
